Pack for your day

Check the items your site allows and asks you to bring.

Confirm your arrival time, location, parking and site contact.
Review the dress code, ID and required documents.
Bring what your program and clinical site require, plus something to take notes on.
Choose a realistic focus for the day. You don’t need to master everything at once.
Find out who supervises you and what you can help with.
Write down questions and check when your supervisor prefers to discuss them.
Keep your logbook and personal notes free of patient identifiers.
Name one thing you learned and one question to bring back.
